20:18 - Senior Iraqi terror leader in Iranian proxy group killed by US strikes

The security chief of Kataib Hezbollah, one of the most powerful Iranian proxy groups in Iraq, was killed in a U.S. strike, the militia announced.

Abu Ali al-Askari, who also served as the group's spokesman, was killed in a recent strike in Baghdad, the group said.

The announcement came in a statement attributed to Kataib Hezbollah's leader, Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi, who, according to several reports, was himself a target in a recent airstrike.

19:02 - Hezbollah attack wounds 4 in Nahariya area

Four Israelis were wounded amid a rocket attack from Hezbollah on the area of Nahariya, along Israel's northernmost coastline on the border with Lebanon.

Three were wounded after a direct impact on a home in Nahariya. Magen David Adom said it treated a woman, aged 53, and two girls, aged 16 and 18, with signs of smoke inhalation after a fire was sparked by the impact.

The IDF is investigating whether the incident was caused by a malfunctioning interceptor that crashed and exploded.

In addition, a man was wounded by the blast of a shrapnel impact in nearby Kibbutz Kabri.

18:12 - WATCH: IDF troops find and dismantle Hezbollah weapons caches in southern Lebanon

Israeli troops operating in southern Lebanon are finding weapons caches "in evacuated areas that were used by Hezbollah terrorists to exploit civilian infrastructure for terrorist activity," the IDF stated.

"Troops from the 401st Brigade, under the command of the 91st Division, continue limited, targeted operations in southern Lebanon," the military said.

"During the activity, the troops located weapons and incitement materials in a structure used by Hezbollah terrorist operatives. In addition, the troops dismantled a weapons cache belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization."

"The IDF will continue to operate with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization following its deliberate decision to attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian regime. The IDF will not tolerate any harm to the residents of the State of Israel."


17:03 - Iranian missile fragments fall meters from Church of Holy Sepulchre

Reports from Iran’s latest missile barrage indicate damage across Jerusalem, including near the Knesset building and in the Old City near the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

A 42-year-old man was lightly injured in Jerusalem after being struck by shrapnel, suffering a minor burn to his hand.

16:28 - Two injured after Iranian missile launch toward Israel

Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency service, reported that following the latest barrage from Iran, a 42-year-old man in Jerusalem was hit by shrapnel and suffered a minor burn to his hand. He was taken to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus.

In Kiryat Gat, MDA reported that a pedestrian who had exited a bus after the siren alert, was struck by a vehicle. The man, in his 50s, is “in serious condition with multi-system trauma,” and has been sedated and placed on a ventilator at Soroka Hospital.

15:53 - Europe resists deeper involvement, White House says they benefit from US action against Iran

As European nations appear to step back from Middle East tensions, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told the press on Monday, “These other countries are benefiting greatly from the United States military taking out the threat of Iran.” 

Asked why countries should respond to President Donald Trump’s demand to safeguard ships along the Hormuz Strait, she said: “These countries are absolutely benefiting from ensuring that Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon. This is something not just the United States, but the entire Western world has agreed with for many, many years.”

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Monday that Britain will “take the necessary action to defend ourselves and our allies,” but “will not be drawn into the wider war,” emphasizing efforts for a “swift resolution that brings security and stability back to the region and stops the Iranian threat to its neighbours.” 

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius also stressed diplomacy, saying, “We want diplomatic solutions and a swift end to the conflict. This is not our war; we did not start it.” 

In a press conference today, Pistorius questioned the U.S. request for wider participation in safeguarding the strait, asking, “What does Donald Trump expect from, say, a handful or two of European frigates in the Strait of Hormuz? He needs them to achieve what the mighty US Navy cannot manage on its own there, is that it?”

15:16 - Ballistic missiles launched toward Israel’s central and southern regions

Iran launched ballistic missiles toward Israel for the fifth time since midnight, setting off sirens in Jerusalem, southern Israel, Judea and Samaria (West Bank).

Early Israeli media reports of impact sites in Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh, with no casualties according to Magen David Adom, whose teams have been dispatched to scan the sites.

15:02 - CENTCOM says 6,000 combat missions completed, 50,000 US troops remain deployed

In an update on Operation Epic Fury, U.S. Central Command Commander Admiral Brad Cooper reported that to date, U.S. aviators have flown more than 6,000 combat missions, maintaining air superiority over Iranian skies. 

Cooper noted the strategy toward dismantling Iran’s defense industrial base, stating, “It’s one thing to defend by striking launchers and intercepting missiles and drones, but it’s another thing to eliminate the wider manufacturing apparatus behind them. And we are doing that today.”

Addressing regional aggression, Cooper noted that Iranian forces have "deliberately attacked innocent civilians more than 300 times" across Oman, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Jordan, Cyprus, Turkey, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain. These strikes, he said, are evidence of Iran’s “true nature as a global leader of terror.” 

Approximately 50,000 Americans remain deployed in the ongoing mission, Cooper added.

14:30 - IDF destroys regime compound to develop satellite attack capabilities in space

The Israeli Air Force acted on IDF intelligence to dismantle a space compound that supported military space programs, including the “Chamran-1” satellite, built by Iran’s Ministry of Defense electronics industries and launched into space by the IRGC in September 2024.

“For years, the Iranian regime has invested heavily in developing space warfare capabilities as part of its efforts to expand military power and destabilize the region,” the IDF said, announcing the strike.

Last Friday, another space-related research compound in Tehran was destroyed in a strike.

14:05 - Pakistan’s ‘Karachi’ becomes granted safe passage through Hormuz Strait after pledging support to Iran

Maritime sources reported that the "Karachi" has become the first commercial vessel to transit the Strait of Hormuz without incident since the recent escalation of regional hostilities.

"The Karachi, controlled by Pakistan's National Shipping Corp., made the perilous journey over the course of Sunday," Bloomberg reported.

The development comes as Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi posted a message in Urdu on 𝕏 thanking “the government and people of Pakistan for their full-throated expression of solidarity and support" with Iran.

13:40 - Three lightly wounded in Iranian missile barrage toward central Israel

Three women sustained light injuries during Iran’s barrage toward central Israel on Monday and were evacuated to the Shamir Medical Center: a 30-year-old in light condition with a shrapnel wound; and a 73-year-old and 79-year-old in light condition after being injured while rushing to a shelter, KAN News reported.

13:07 - Israeli DM Katz: Hezbollah leader is hiding underground, IDF will dismantle threats in Lebanon like in Gaza

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a statement that Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem is provoking the IDF and "hiding underground while turning more than a million Shiites of his own community into refugees in their own country."

"Hundreds of thousands of Shiite residents of southern Lebanon who have evacuated and are evacuating from their homes in southern Lebanon and Beirut will not return to their homes south of the Litani area until the safety of the residents of the north is guaranteed," Katz vowed.

"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I instructed the IDF to operate and destroy the terror infrastructure in the contact villages near the border in Lebanon in order to prevent threats and the return of Hezbollah to the area—exactly as was done against Hamas in Gaza in the areas of Rafah, Beit Hanoun, and extensive territories that were neutralized, and as is currently being done against the terror tunnels in Gaza."

"If Naim Qassem misses Nasrallah and Khamenei so much, he will soon be able to meet them in the depths of hell together with all those eliminated from the axis of evil. We promised security to the residents of the north, and that is exactly what we will deliver."

12:41 - No injuries in simultaneous attacks from Iran & Hezbollah on northern Israel & Jerusalem area

Millions of Israelis were sent to shelters as the Iranian regime launched ballistic missiles at the Jerusalem area and northern Israel, while Hezbollah also launched attacks on northern Israel at the same time.

Despite the unusual, simultaneous attacks, Times of Israel cited initial military assessments saying that the small number of missiles launched were either intercepted or struck open areas.

There were no reports of injuries or damage caused by the attacks or the interceptions.

The Education Ministry reported that fewer than half of the students whose schools reopened today actually attended, according to i24 News.

Starting today, schools located in areas designated “yellow” according to the government are allowed to reopen, provided they have safety shelters for students in the event of missile fire.

11:32 - 142 Israelis taken to hospitals for treatment in past 24 hours

142 Israelis were taken to hospitals to receive treatment for injuries sustained in the past 24 hours as a result of attacks from Iran, the Health Ministry said.

Of those, three are currently in moderate condition, while 134 are in good condition, and five were treated for acute anxiety.

Since the beginning of the war with Iran on Feb. 28, 3,369 people have been treated at various hospitals, 81 of whom are currently still hospitalized, the ministry said.

10:59 - Cluster warhead injures one woman, causes damage to multiple sites in central Israel

One woman was lightly injured and taken to a hospital after Iran's latest ballistic missile attack, according to the Magen David Adom rescue services.

Sirens were activated across the greater Tel Aviv area, as well as parts of the coast to the north and south, and parts of Samaria. The missile apparently contained a cluster munition warhead, whose submunitions caused damage at multiple sites.

In the city of Shoham, one submunition hit a house, causing significant damage but no injuries.

10:21 - Iran threatens US aircraft carrier

A spokesman for the Iranian Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters, responsible for coordinating joint operations of all armed forces, threatened the American aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford.

The spokesman said that, due to the vessel being a threat to Iran, its logistical centers and support facilities in the Red Sea are being considered as targets for the Iranian armed forces.

09:51 - Israeli Air Force destroys Iranian 'Air Force One' in Tehran airport

The Israeli Air Force struck and destroyed the aircraft of the leader of the Iranian regime at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran, the Israeli military announced.

"The IDF carried out a targeted strike overnight (Monday) and destroyed the aircraft used by Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Iranian terror regime, at Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran. The aircraft was used by Khamenei, other senior officials of the regime, and members of the Iranian military to facilitate military procurement and manage relations with allied 'axis' countries through both domestic and international flights."

"The destruction of the aircraft harms the Iranian regime leadership’s ability to coordinate with allied countries, build military power, and restore its operational capabilities. As a result, another strategic asset has been removed from the Iranian regime."

In recent days, 91st Division forces have begun focused ground activity targeting key objectives in southern Lebanon to expand the forward defense zone, the IDF announced.

President Donald Trump is considering the seizure of Iran’s Kharg Island, a key oil depot, if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, Axios reports, citing unnamed US officials.

04:45 - Trump tells reporters Cuba is next

President Donald Trump told reporters that he has held talks with the government of Cuba.

“We’re talking to Cuba, but we’re going to do Iran before Cuba,” Trump said.

“I think we will pretty soon either make a deal or do whatever we have to do,” he added.

04:05 - Flights from Dubai International Airport suspended

Flights from Dubai International Airport were temporarily suspended after a drone struck a fuel tank and sparked a fire, the Associated Press reports.

Civil defense crews later contained the fire, the Dubai Media Office said.

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority said the flight suspension was taken as a precaution.

U.S. President Donald Trump said Sunday that he “demanded” that about seven countries heavily reliant on oil from the Middle East form a coalition to secure the Strait of Hormuz. 

Trump made the statement while answering reporters’ questions aboard Air Force One as he flew back to Washington. 

“I’m demanding that these countries come in and protect their own territory, because it is their own territory,” Trump said regarding the vital waterway.

A drone hit the Dubai International Airport, causing a fire, the Dubai Media Office said. 

Videos on social media showed a column of smoke rising from the airport premises.

Lebanon’s health ministry said that 5 people were killed in Israeli strikes overnight. Three people were killed in a strike in the Tyre district on Sunday, while another strike in the Marjeyoun district killed two people.
