Rivers of Fire – Israel strikes fuel depots in Tehran used by Iranian regime forces
IDF destroys regime F-14 fighter jets and ballistic missile sites in weekend strikes
The Israeli Air Force (IAF) struck a number of fuel storage depots in Tehran used by the Iranian regime's military forces, the IDF stated overnight.
This marks the first time that the IDF has struck Iranian national infrastructure since the start of Operation Roaring Lion.
The Iranian Fars News Agency quoted an official from the Iranian Oil Ministry as saying that Israel also struck three oil reservoirs in Koh, Shahran and Karaj.
On Sunday morning, National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company CEO Keramat Veyskarami confirmed the strikes on five oil facilities in the area near Iran's capital city of Tehran overnight, saying that four people were killed.
"Last night, four oil depots and a petroleum products transport center in Tehran and the Alborz were attacked by enemy aircraft," Veyskarami told Iranian news outlet IRIB.
"Four of our personnel, including two oil tanker drivers, were killed in the incident," he added.

“The military forces of the Iranian terror regime make direct and frequent use of these fuel tanks to operate military infrastructure,” the IDF said in a statement. “Through them, the Iranian terror regime distributes fuel to various consumers, including military entities in Iran.”
The IDF said the strike “constitutes an additional step in deepening the damage to the military infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime.”

Opposition leader Yair Lapid wrote on 𝕏: "Israel must destroy all of Iran's oil fields and energy industry on Kharj Island.”
"That is what will cripple Iran's economy and topple the regime. This war must end when the regime in Iran has fallen, the nuclear facilities have been destroyed, all of the ballistic missile industry has been destroyed, and Hezbollah has been destroyed in Lebanon,” Lapid wrote.
On Saturday night, the IDF also reported that it had targeted ballistic missile production sites in Parchin and Shahrud in recent days.
The military said the sites targeted included factories producing explosive materials for ballistic missile warheads, facilities for developing rocket engine components, and a complex used for the research, development, assembly, and production of advanced cruise missiles.
Additionally, the military announced the destruction of “the air defense situation room of the IRGC Air Force, responsible for the aerial situational assessment and to defend Iran’s airspace.”

On Sunday morning, the IDF also announced that it had destroyed several F-14 fighter jets of the regime in Isfahan.
The IDF said the fighter jets were destroyed as part of “a broad wave of airstrikes by the Air Force under the direction of the Intelligence Directorate.”
“This attack joins the destruction of 16 aircraft used by the 'Quds Force' unit at the 'Mehrabad' airport in Tehran on the previous day, as part of efforts to deepen the Air Force's air superiority in Iranian skies,” the military said.
“The IDF will continue to deepen the damage to all of the Iranian terrorist regime's assets and expand air superiority throughout Iran.”
