45th victim in Arab community this year: Woman killed in Tamra shooting

A 56-year-old resident of Tamra was shot and killed Thursday evening in what police believe was stray gunfire. She was struck upon leaving her home upon hearing shots fired at a nearby house in her neighborhood.

She is the 45th homicide victim in the Arab community since the beginning of 2026. Police have opened an investigation.
