Albanian PM visits Western Wall & Church of Holy Sepulchre ahead of meeting PM Netanyahu in Jerusalem
Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem with his wife, the Jerusalem Post reported, after arriving in Israel for a two-day visit focusing on his participation in the International Conference on Combating Antisemitism on Tuesday.
At the Western Wall, Rama and his wife toured the new “Gate of Heaven” exhibit, placed a note, and wrote: “It’s always a unique experience to stand here.”
The baptized Catholic who leads a country that is 50% Muslim also visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre ahead of a private meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu before noon.
