Ground offensive not necessarily the next phase of the war, IDF says
The IDF's International Spokesman Lt.-Col. Richard Hecht indicated that Israel's next step in the war with Gaza may not be one most are expecting, as Israeli and international media continue to speculate about the expected Israeli ground offensive into the Gaza Strip.
"We are preparing for the next stages of war. We haven't said what they will be. Everybody's talking about the ground offensive. It might be something different," Hecht told a regular briefing with reporters on Tuesday morning.
