IDF strikes several Hezbollah weapons storage facilities in Lebanon after warning
The Israel Defense Forces struck several weapons storage facilities of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, following a warning to civilians to evacuate from the target areas.
The IDF said it struck the targets "in order to prevent reestablishment attempts of the terrorist organization."
"One of the facilities struck was located in the heart of a civilian area. This is yet another example of Hezbollah's cynical use of Lebanese civilians as human shields, and continued operations from within civilian infrastructure," the military noted.
"Hezbollah's operations in these facilities constitute a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon and a threat to the State of Israel. The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat posed to the State of Israel."
