Israeli security cabinet advances steps to deepen annexation in Judea and Samaria
Israel’s security cabinet on Sunday approved measures to deepen Israeli control in Judea and Samaria, easing Jewish land purchases and expanding state planning authority.
The decisions included declassifying land registries, repealing a Jordanian-era ban on land sales to Jews, reviving a state land-acquisition committee, and transferring building permit authority for Jewish areas in Hebron to the Civil Administration.
