Military intelligence probe: Hamas used emoji code to signal Oct 7 attack
An internal Military Intelligence (Aman) investigation conducted in the weeks following the Oct. 7 massacre revealed that Hamas operatives used emoji codes to signal preparations for the assault.
According to details cleared for publication Monday, the emojis signaled that the time had come to launch the attack aimed at over-running the Gaza Division and instructed militants to assemble at designated staging points. The findings underscore the covert communication methods used in the lead-up to the unprecedented assault.
