Tucker Carlson says he was 'detained' for questioning in Israel

Political commentator Tucker Carlson told the Daily Mail he was taken to a side room at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel and asked about his interview with U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee.

The U.S. embassy denied that Carlson received hostile or unusual treatment. Huckabee wrote on 𝕏 that all travelers — “including me with my diplomatic passport” — undergo routine checks.

Israel’s Airports Authority said Carlson and his team were not detained or interrogated, but politely asked standard questions in a VIP lounge for privacy, calling reports of an irregular incident “categorically false.”
