UNIFIL claims IDF dispersed chemical substance, disrupting its operations in Lebanon

The UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) stated on Telegram today that the IDF dispersed a chemical substance over areas near the Blue Line in southern Lebanon.

Though it was not toxic, UNIFL claims the action forced the organization to “cancel a dozen activities” and described it as a violation of UN Resolution 1701.

The IDF declined to comment.
