Seventh consecutive day of more than 2,000 confirmed COVID cases

The Ministry of Health reported another 2,114 new coronavirus cases yesterday, which marks the seventh straight day of over 2,000 confirmed infections.

About 72,000 COVID tests were conducted yesterday, with a test positivity rate of 2.95%.

The number of hospitalized patients rose to 212, 42 of whom are intubated, as of the time of writing.
